there's a little pocket of showers and thunderstorms up in baltimore and northern sections of baltimore county. that's been a bit of a hotspot this evening. they keep forming storm after storm up there. we have been dry in town. you can see around charlottesville some pretty good rain. this is moving north of 64 now. parts of culpeper county are beginning to get in on the act and again this rain will continue to move up and through. it's not in the metro area now, but i suspect as it holds together, it will at least bring a few showers through here 1:00, 2:00 in the morning. 79 degrees now, 75 for gaithersburg, 82 for quantico. dew points are extremely high and here in town it just jumped up to 74 degrees. 76 for fredericksburg and culpeper the dew point is 75. what we're dealing with here, remnants of isaac and we're still east of what is left of isaac, so we continue with this unsettled pattern, showers, thunderstorms, muggy conditions lingering. it does look like we'll be a little bit drier as we start getting into thursday and friday before more showers and thunderstorms come back i

baltimore county, baltimore city. low lying spots, you could see ponding of wart-- water. dew point is 73. it is extremely muggy. i don't have to tell you that, extremely muggy. look at the clouds billowing up. rain clouds, tropical moisture. kent island, showers off and on. a wet weather scenario at beaches. it was not the best beach weather, especially the second half of the weekend. temperature wise low allot heat statewide, 70s to the west. 70s to the east. all of a sudden, a humid pattern, extremely muggy conditions. it feels rather warm it. feels like almost 90 with the clouds and rain. feels like the mid-90s toward frederick. even with the clouds uncomfortable. winds from the south, not much to stir the air. moisture from isaac. that is the story the next several days, a little boundary over canada will squeeze the moisture to the east before they begin to diminish. you see how far reaching the rains are reaching into illinois. that's the center of the leftover of eye tack. we're in the beginning of this wet weather scenario. future trend shows showers will continue

it's 78 now at d.c., 77 in baltimore, 82 quantico. we've got 72 at winchester, 73 martinsburg and 75 degrees this hour at hagerstown. this is that frontal system stalling out and then we'll see as we move into monday it's going to start to move north as a warm front. once again that's going to add to more instability in our atmosphere. showers and storms throughout the day tomorrow as well. it looks like we'll see a fair amount of activity into the late morning hours into the early afternoon and tomorrow i anticipate that we will end up seeing more widespread shower activity and storms than we have today. if you're heading out anywhere tomorrow, be aware of that. it looks like this will stick around through at least until wednesday before we start to get much of a break. in the tropics still keeping an eye on tropical storm leslie. it's expected to become a hurricane, but expected to take a path close straight through to bermuda not really affect anywhere along the u.s. coastline, but we'll keep a close eye on it. by the early part of
